Considered a true renaissance man in the world of animation, Mitch created, and was executive producer of Nickelodeon's  The Angry Beavers. Mitch not only designed the look of the show and it's starring characters, but also wrote many episodes, composed several songs for the series and directed every voice recording session. Schauer's high standards of quality helped the 62 episode series earn ratings second only to Rugrats and numerous awards including Best of Show at Annecy.

Beavers wasn't the only series to garner awards for Schauer. Prior to Nickelodeon, a short stint at Warner Brothers earned him his first Emmy as producer of Freakazoid!

He has recently returned from two years in Berlin where, as Creative Producer, he developed two new series for Berliner Film Companie. Once again, he served as story editor, writer, character designer, and voice recording director. Now, Mitch's creative and innovative vision looks to the future of animation with brand new concepts that include: Loving Mustard, Katz & Kiddy Litter, Big Buff Tuff Dudes, and the animated feature, Creature Moon.
